Magistrate Judge sets pre-trial conference in Jason Goodman libel, slander and defamation case





On September 23, 2019, U.S. Magistrate Judge Stewart D. Aaron issued an Initial Pretrial Conference (IPTC) known as docket number 91 in the Jason Goodman libel, slander and defamation lawsuit (see below).

This has provided Goodman with at least three (3) additional weeks to respond to the Plaintiff’s Second Amended Complaint (2AC).


09/23/2019 91 ORDER SCHEDULING INITIAL PRETRIAL CONFERENCE: An Initial Pretrial Conference in accordance with Rule 16(b) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom 11C, United States Courthouse, 500 Pearl Street, New York, NY 10007. If any party needs to change the date of the conference, that party must make the request, by letter, as soon as the need for a different date is known. Defendant’s time to respond to the Second Amended Complaint (ECF No. 88) is stayed until following the Initial Pretrial Conference.
